Cancellation policyAppointments may be re-scheduled.  Please give a minimum notice of 24 hours should you need to change your treatment time.

Polite notice: Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice will normally incur the full treatment cost.
Private health insuranceIf you have private medical insurance, you may be entitled to claim full or partial costs for your acupuncture treatment.   Many insurance companies will pay the costs of acupuncture treatment if the practitioner is a full member of the British Acupuncture Council.  A referral from your GP is not always required.  Contact your health care insurance provider to ensure you are covered.

Classical Acupuncture: How Many Treatments Will I Need?
The number of treatments or sessions needed depends on your individual condition.
At first we will normally ask to see you once or twice a week. You may start to feel benefits after the first or second treatment although long-standing and chronic conditions usually need more time to improve.
Once your health has stabilised you may need top-up treatments every few weeks. Traditional five element acupuncture is also very effective when used as preventive healthcare and many people like to go for a ‘maintenance’ session at the change of each season throughout the year.
